Utah Trip

Its time for the December memory dump!

First off decorating the Christmas tree.

We had Christmas a week early because we were leaving to Utah

Santa came with an embarrassing amount of presents this year! We stuck to the the budget pretty well (150 per kid) but man do the gifts add up in a family of 7!

Camille won the art competition for her school! We were so proud!

Karl and I made another bed, this one was for us.

We flew to Utah, but on our way we spent a 10 hour or so layover at my mom's in Washington. Of course she had her own Christmas planned for the grandkids!

Pretty much the first thing we did in Utah was visit my mother in law's sculpture garden at Thanksgiving point during a light show event called Luminaria.

Caleb (my brother) came too!

This was at a regular costco!

good chunk of the kids cousins
We saw the new Temple in provo with Caleb. It was fun to see the place that Karl and I used to have our Stake conferences at turned into a temple

Macie turned two on Christmas eve and everyone got together for a birthday breakfast for her

Santa did save one gift for Christmas morning at Grandma Angela's

Christmas morning carols with Grandma Angela

We bounced from Angela's house to Mark's to Erics so that we could be sure to have a good visit with everyone. This was when we packed the car with stuff to move to another house. Macie could sleep through anything
the older two were only half a sleep, but there were a lot of fun late nights!

Farmor (father's mother in swedish) and ours and karl's brother's families

Karl and Farmor talking about Farmor's feet
We adults went to Thai food and the new star wars movie

Karl and I left our kids and did a quick two day jot to eastern washington. This was at the airport

It was the tiniest, cutest airport!
A quick winter hike with Mark's family
Eric's two youngest girls and our three oldest camped out together at night
We got to see my uncle, Jody, and his family. this is Ashley playing with the kids.

They have horses!

On new years we did spring rolls and Tikka Masala

Karl and his brother Mark were big sweeties and went and got Adalyn's favorite Christmas toy that she had forgotten at Mark's at like 11pm on our last night there!
My mom helping us get on the plane again to Alaska. I was pretty sick, so it was so nice to have my family's help!

When we did a layover on the return trip at my mom's they had a birthday party for Macie and an early one for Cole

And now home again.
