Yes, it's about time folks. Camille and Shaylee are now home. We brought them home earlier today, about 2:00 pm. They were really free to go any time today but we weren't able to take them until the final check from the doctor. He didn't even look at them, just told us some information and we were on our way. The nurse had to carry out the car seats and insure they were properly put into place (mainly to avoid liability issues). Camille is on a trace amount of oxygen because her oxygen blood level drops a little when she eats. We anticipate that she wont need that for more than a week or so.

They both weigh around 5 pounds 8 ounces. Shaylee really has the eating thing down and was almost doubling what they were giving them through the tube. Camille is good too but takes a little longer, probably due to the oxygen thing. When we turn up her oxygen she does a lot better. The head nurse "guru" said that in the 18 years that she has been at this hospital she can't remember babies who have progressed as rapidly as babies their age, must be the Johnson blood (according to Jess) because Tiffany's twins did well in the hospital as well.
