Washington Camping Trip

These pics are out of order and the computer is too slow to rearrange it easily, so I will just explain some of them.
We are now in Washington visiting my family (except the siblings in Alaska). We went camping near Forks and so we had to stop in and see a little of the town. This is where Twilight takes place.

This is us camping. It was so beautiful to be back in the northwest! We loved it! It poured rain the first day while we were setting up camp, but it was beautiful the last two days.

The campsite was right by a beach.

We went on a couple easy hikes. My kids were amazing hikers!

Tom made a kite to fly on the beach out of sticks a garbage bag and duct tape, didn't stay in the air all that long.

A sand castle with a dead crab on top :)

The kids hiked most of the hikes riding their stick horses just like their mama used to do when she was a young camper!

This is earlier on the airplane ride in. It was two flights with a layover in Denver and we had to circle around at the end of the first flight for an hour because of weather (the combination of not a real dinner, morning sickness and pregnancy sickness was not so good!) Our second flight was delayed so we were very happy when we made it in Washington!

This was the Forks information center which was basically a Twilight museum/gift shop. We did our best vampire pose.

One of the hikes was to a pretty waterfall. This was the bridge over the river part.
